Lost Opportunity ("Occasion manquée")

This music is all about the resignation and melancholy that comes with letting an opportunity slip away. In the middle part I try to convey the process of hesitation and wild imagination when weighing the different scenarios. Ultimately, the decision has been made not to follow the temptation.
This trio was awarded a first prize at the international composition competition “Artistes en Herbe” in Luxembourg.
Cette musique parle de la résignation et de la mélancolie qui accompagnent le fait de laisser filer une opportunité. Dans la partie centrale, j'essaie de transmettre le processus d'hésitation et l'imagination débridée lors de l'évaluation des différents scénarios. En fin de compte, la décision est prise de ne pas succomber à la tentation.
Ce trio a obtenu un premier prix au concours international de composition "Artistes en herbe" à Luxembourg.
