I spend my days playing the oboe, writing music and making reeds so I can play the oboe… And then there is my new passion: Lindy Hop! But that’s a different story.
After studying with Ivan Podyomov, principal oboist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, I have recently joined the class of Nick Deutsch, renowned professor in Leipzig.
My highlights of 2024 include two tours with the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and the premiere of my piece “Imbalance” by the Solistes Européens Luxembourg and Christoph König.
As a soloist, I have performed works by J. S. Bach, R. Strauss, Ó. Navarro and myself, most notably with the Luxembourg Philharmonic. I regularly substitute in various professional orchestras and was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra 2023.
My oboe concerto, RESILIENCE, has been premiered by the Málaga Philharmonic, Tiago Coimbra and Levente Török.
